Ryder Cup Friday Morning Europe Pairings The 2012 Ryder Cup is about to begin this Friday at Medinah #3, just outside Chicago, Illinois.  One of the biggest questions leading into the Friday morning foursome matches (alternate shot) is which European’s will be playing and who will partner with whom.   Two teams are almost locks to play Friday morning, Rory and Graeme and Lee and Luke.  That leaves captain Jose Maria Olazabal with a lot of good players looking to be make up the other two teams.  I would expect Justin Rose and Sergio to play together as they both use the same golf ball, a big advantage in foursomes.  That leaves Ian Poulter, Paul Lawrie, Francesco Molinari, Peter Hanson, Martin Kaymer and Nicolas Colsaerts.  I give the advantage to Ian Poulter (a great Ryder Cup record of of winning 8 of a possible 11 points) playing with Martin Kaymer (who was unbeaten in foursomes and fourballs in Wales) or fellow Brit  Paul Lawrie.   We’ll know tonight when the pairings are announced.
