One of Tee’d Off Tee Times favorite golf courses in the Riviera Mayan coast.  Reflecting the beauty of the landscape it occupies; IBEROSTAR Playa Paraiso Golf Club is the latest creation of world-renowned golf course architect P.B. Dye. The vertical movement and distinctive rock work are signatures of a typical P.B. Dye design. This world-class layout features conditions seen only at the best golf destinations around the world.Iberostar Piramid

Located in the Riviera Maya 30 minutes south of Cancun, this all-inclusive resort caters to your every need.  Deep bunkers, narrow fairways, undulating greens and beautiful vistas are at every turn. On course beverages and snacks, included in your green fee, will keep you fuelled for what is sure to be a 4-hour battle with one of Dye’s toughest designs.

Golf Tip Week

Swing at 80 percent golf power swing
to establish better
distance control in
your approach shots.
Try not to max out the distance but go to a less lofted wedge to control trajectory, ball spin and superior accuracy. These are your scoring tools and this is why most pro`s carry 3 or 4 wedges in their bag.

Reid, Golfing in Cancun

Hey guys and dolls….. just to say thanks again for all your help!
We played Iberostar Cancun, Riviera Cancun and Playa Mujeres…… Playa Mujeres Signature Hole 16of course the last was the nicest as you had described and I could have played it more than once!  I did send a fair number of balls into gator zone unfortunately and it was humid as hell (all 3 days 🙂 but we love the course.  We also liked Riviera Cancun as well and surprisingly I drove it well there to keep it in the short grass more and less food for the wildlife!
I had no idea how commercial and big Cancun has gotten…… see you next time in Playa del Carmen for sure 🙂
thanks again…… muy amable chicos!
